History
The business started in the UK in 1969 following a chance meeting between the chairman of our then parent group and the president of Water Saver Systems based in Detroit, USA.
The UK business operated under licence from Water Saver Systems Inc. for around 5 years, when the US based company experienced financial problems and ceased trading. Water Saver Systems UK has since operated independently for the past 31 years.
Water Saver Systems UK changed its name in 1986 to Stadco Cooling as part of the corporate group re-structure.
Stadco Cooling pioneered sealed industrial cooling systems in Europe with sealed radiator cooling systems. Recognising the market potential for other systems, the business quickly developed its market offer to a wide range of water cooling systems utilising air blast coolers, evaporative cooling towers, chillers and plate heat exchangers.
All systems are designed and engineered in Shrewsbury to individual customer specification and process application. Stadco Cooling is a division of Stadco Ltd, which in turn is part of Stadco Automotive Ltd.
